ORM is pleased to share that our housing association client, Moat, launched its new corporate website and customer portal, MyMoat, in May 2018.


The new brochureware site was designed and developed by ORM, through a 9-month collaborative project with the team at Moat. As part of this deployment, ORM also designed the MyMoat portal and provided tech consultancy and guidance to the in-house IT Team at Moat, who developed the portal.


Last summer, the housing association chose ORM as their strategic partner to support the delivery of their new corporate website and customer portal, which formed part of their digital business transformation programme. After initial stakeholder meetings to determine scope for the re-platform of its website and customer portal, we embedded a team of experience designers, content strategists and technical analysts onsite at their Kent HQ for the early phases of the project. The team from ORM provided project management, devops for agile working and testing and assurance, prior to the launch of the new website. In addition to this, we also worked collaboratively with Moat’s team onsite during their development sprints and the deploy phase.

The corporate website has been built on the Sitecore 9.0 platform, which ORM provided full training for Moat staff on. The cloud infrastructure for the website and My Moat portal is hosted on Rackspace, and integrates with Moat’s CRM data in MS Dynamics. We will continue to work with the housing association on optimising its digital assets, as well as looking at future projects as part of their ongoing transformation.
