ORM – achieve your digital freedom in 2019
At ORM, we’re proud of the culture and ethos we’ve created over the years. 2019 marks our 20th year in business, and we can celebrate by confidently saying we’re a Top 25 Independent Agency and Top 20 Design & Build Agency in the UK. We’re also in a strong position for the year ahead, and on track for continued growth and expansion.
To kick off 2019, we’ve been working on a new narrative and mission statement that clearly summarises our ambition and how we work moving forward to 2020 and beyond… and it revolves around a single, powerful word that we believe all organisations need – FREEDOM:
ORM helps organisations accelerate through complexity to achieve their digital freedom.
We believe organisations should have the freedom to grow, scale and change with the speed and efficiency they need.
Yet, what does this mean in practice? Well, we’re no longer working with clients just on a website project, or building an app. Our clients are often complex organisations, serving multiple territories, multiple channels, products, audiences and markets. Regulation and compliance add even more complexity, along with disconnected, legacy technologies and data – all this can hinder innovation and stall change. We've become a digital partner to organisations to help accelerate through these complexities, for clients such as Arriva, Great Western Railway and Artemis, giving them the freedom to own their digital roadmap for products and innovation, and ultimately, to make it easier to do business with their customers.
It’s not just about the fancy wording though. We have our own strategy for ORM’s growth, with new offices and hires in 2019. We've set up a second development hub based out of Kiev – ORM Ukraine – supporting our growing Drupal practice with some of our key clients on Acquia. We’ve also recruited a new role, a Head of Data, which has been filled by Leona Bell, joining us from FuelData (part of the Engine Group), also in January. Leona’s remit will be to support our growing Solution Consulting practice led by our Director of Strategy, Andy Farmer.
At the heart of it, ORM is still about changing businesses through the effective use of digital technology. We’ve been doing that since 1999, developing many digital firsts and playing a part in evolving the sectors we work in. And we’ll continue to do this, while epitomising our own values (Growth, Respect, Innovation and Trust – GRIT) and demonstrating true grit for our clients in everything we create.
Can digital freedom help you achieve your business goals for 2019 and beyond? Get in touch and let’s see if we can work together to make it happen.
