ORM is delighted to announce that our client Transport for Wales won the Silver Award in the Best Website category at the UK Digital Experience Awards on Friday 12 July.

This was a much-deserved reward for our joint teams and a recognition of the efforts and improvements we’ve made in digital experience over the past year.

ORM worked with Transport for Wales last summer when they took over the franchise for the Wales and Borders train route. With a hard deadline to meet, ORM had just 10 weeks to deliver the new marketing website and platform for the train operating company.

Last Friday, 350 people gathered at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London to compete for a coveted series of prizes and share the very best ideas from the world of technology. ORM had several clients up for awards, with Transport for Wales, Artemis and Moat also listed as finalists.

The morning was spent trying to impress the judges, where we needed to condense a complex range of working practices into a concise, engaging 15-minute pitch.

Peter Paterson, Director of Client Engagement at ORM, led the presentation for Transport for Wales, and said of the experience: “We had a great day representing several of our clients and the work that we’ve collaborated on to co-create. Best Website is always going to be a tough category, and we’re delighted to come away with the Silver Award and be able to share in the excitement of it with our clients and teams.”
